Greenwich Voters Invited To Zoom Conversation With Election Officials

GREENWICH, CT — The League of Women Voters of Greenwich will host a live Zoom conversation with Greenwich election officials from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, ahead of the Nov. 3 general election.

Greenwich Registrars of Voters Fred DeCaro III and Mary Hegarty and Town Clerk Jacqueline A. "Jackie" Budkins will discuss what voters should know about this year's election, including early voting and the new no-excuse absentee voting process.

Representatives of the League of Women Voters of Greenwich will moderate the program, titled "Absentee Ballots & Early Voting: A Conversation with Greenwich Election Officials." Time will be set aside for participants to ask questions.

The registrars oversee voter registration and elections, while the town clerk's office administers the absentee ballot process.

"This is a chance for Greenwich voters to get answers directly from the people who administer our elections," said League of Women Voters of Greenwich President Mary Browne in a news release. "With changes to voting options this year, we want voters to have clear, reliable information so they can make their voting plan and be #VoteReady."

Registration is required. Participants will receive the Zoom link by email before the program.
