$6.8 Million Winning CT Lottery Ticket Sold In Groton
The lucky ticket is from a drawing earlier this year, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
GROTON, CT — An unnamed winner claimed a $6.8 million Lotto! lottery prize this week, the fifth-largest jackpot in the game's, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
The winning ticket was bought in Groton at the Big Y World Class Market on Poquonnock Road for the Feb. 3 drawing. See below.
The Connecticut Lottery no longer publishes winners’ names without their written consent, in accordance with Sec. 3(d) of Public Act 25-112, according to officials.

Overall odds of winning a Lotto! jackpot are 1 in 7,059,052, officials said.

Additionally, seven other tickets from the Feb. 3 drawing matched five of the six winning numbers, and each won a prize of $2,263.
Players are encouraged to double-check their tickets, as prizes from drawings must be claimed within 180 calendar days of the drawing.
