Details Released On Groton City Brew Fun Run
The event features a scenic 5K, a kids run, a post-race Brew Garden, live music, food trucks and family-friendly activities.
GROTON, CT — The Groton City Brew Run is returning to Eastern Point Beach on Saturday, Sept. 12.
The annual race brings together "runners, walkers, families, local businesses and craft beverage enthusiasts for a fun-filled day along the Groton City shoreline," according to a statement from organizers.
The race will support The Riverfront Children's Center, which provides assistance to children and families throughout the region.

The Groton City Brew Run is hosted by the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce, Groton Utilities and Kelley’s Pace.

“Events like the Groton City Brew Run demonstrate what can happen when our business community and residents come together behind an important local cause,” Bruce Flax, president of the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce, said in a statement. “We’re excited to give participants a great day out while helping support The Riverfront Children’s Center and the children and families who rely on their services.”
