2026 Beach Season To Begin Soon In Guilford: Here's What To Know
Beach season is nearing in Guilford.
GUILFORD, CT — Beach season is fast approaching in Guilford.
According to a recent announcement from the Guilford Parks & Recreation Department, Jacobs Beach and Lake Quonnipaug Beach will be staffed on weekends only from Memorial Day through June 21. Both beaches will be open daily beginning June 22 through Sept. 7.
Beginning Memorial Day weekend, beach stickers for residents will be available for purchase during open beach hours at Jacobs Beach and Lake Quonnipaug. Only credit cards will be accepted.

Beach stickers can also be purchased at the Guilford Community Center front desk Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
New for 2026, guest Passes are available for $10 each to accommodate non-resident family and friends who may visit. Those passes can be purchased and picked up at the Community Center.

The Parks & Recreation Department noted:
- Stickers must be applied directly to each vehicle in the upper right corner of the windshield for gate guards to see at the entrances of Jacobs Beach and Lake Quonnipaug Beach.
- Stickers are non-transferable.
- Non-resident beach stickers are sold out.
- Non-residents can enjoy Guilford beaches with a daily entrance fee of $50.
