Guilford 2026 Beach Stickers Now Available: Here's How To Purchase

Guilford residents can begin to think about warmer days ahead.

GUILFORD, CT — Guilford residents can begin to think about warmer days ahead, as the town has opened sales for its 2026 seasonal beach stickers, which provide access to Jacobs Beach and Lake Quonnipaug.

The new system transitions from shareable beach passes to vehicle-specific stickers, aiming to improve convenience and enhance access management for beachgoers.

Residents and non-residents can purchase their stickers online through May 7. An online convenience fee of $1.50 applies to these purchases. Stickers bought online will be mailed during the week of May 11.

In-person sales will begin on April 1 at the Community Center. Starting Memorial Day weekend, stickers will also be available for purchase at the beach during open hours. Beachside purchases at Jacobs Beach and Lake Quonnipaug will require a credit card.

For Guilford residents aged 64 and younger, a seasonal sticker costs $35.

Active adults aged 65 and older, along with veterans, can purchase a sticker for $15, requiring a valid ID.

Non-resident stickers for individuals 64 and younger are priced at $175, while non-resident active adults aged 65 and older and veterans can obtain a sticker for $100 with a valid ID.

A limited number of 400 seasonal stickers are available for non-residents. Once these non-resident stickers are sold out, non-residents will need to pay a daily entrance fee of $50.

All purchased stickers must be applied directly to the upper right corner of the vehicle's windshield and are non-transferable.
