Guilford 'Ag Day' To Bring Farm Animals, Tractor Displays And Family Fun To Fairgrounds

The free event is intended to celebrate Guilford's agricultural heritage while promoting agricultural education

GUILFORD, CT — The Guilford Agricultural Society will host its annual Community Ag Day on Saturday, May 30, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Guilford Fairgrounds.

The free event is intended to celebrate Guilford’s agricultural heritage while promoting agricultural education through exhibits, demonstrations and hands-on activities for families and children.

Organizers said the event will feature participation from several 4-H groups in New Haven and Middlesex counties, along with Future Farmers of America programs, including The Sound School in New Haven. The school provides agriculture education opportunities to students from communities without local farming access.
