Guilford Police To Host 'National Night Out' Event

GUILFORD, CT — The Guilford Police Department’s 2026 National Night Out is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 9, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on the Guilford Green.

National Night Out is a nationwide initiative designed to strengthen relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve.

The free event will feature a DJ, local food trucks, inflatables, games, contests and prizes. Attendees will also have an opportunity to meet Guilford police officers.

Representatives from other town departments and local businesses and organizations will be available to answer questions and provide information and resources.

The rain date is Saturday, Oct. 10.

Local vendors, businesses and organizations interested in setting up a table may register for free through Sept. 30.
