New Event To Celebrate CT's Peach Season Coming To Bishop's In Guilford
The outdoor event in Guilford will feature live music, local food and drinks, activities and pick-your-own peaches.
GUILFORD, CT — Bishop's will debut a new event next week to celebrate Connecticut's peach season.
Peach Jam is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 22, at the main orchard in Guilford. The event will run from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 480 New England Road and feature live music, locally crafted food and beverages, pick-your-own peaches, a Bishop’s activity area and wagon rides, local food trucks, hard cider and wine.
Tickets are $15 per person in advance online and $18 at the gate. Children ages 2 and under are admitted free. Guests who purchase peaches during the event or as an add-on with their online ticket will receive 20 percent off their peach purchase.

Inspired by the orchard during peak peach season, the event was created to bring people of all ages together for an outdoor music festival featuring live music, local food and drinks.
Bishop's hopes the event will become an annual tradition celebrating the summer harvest season.
The music lineup includes Spellbound Duo from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., Vintage T’s from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and ZZ Knot from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
In addition to live entertainment, the event will feature peach-inspired food and desserts, family-friendly activities and local food trucks, including Bear’s Smokehouse BBQ, Haven Hot Chicken and Dos Chiludos.
Guests can also shop in the Farm Market, which features locally grown produce, bakery favorites and specialty foods.
Peach Jam will be held rain or shine.
