Cedar Hill Cemetery Foundation Offers Highlight Tour of the Historic Cemetery

Cedar Hill Cemetery Foundation is excited to kick off its program season with a special tour of the historic cemetery.

Join Cedar Hill Cemetery Foundation on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 10:00 am for the guided walk, Discover Cedar Hill.

Led by Foundation Director Beverly Lucas, the free tour will showcase the art, history, and natural beauty that makes this urban oasis so special.

Experience the park-like beauty of Cedar Hill while learning about the cemetery’s prominent residents and impressive monuments.

After the tour, enjoy light refreshments. Learn about upcoming tours and activities. And have a chance to win Cedar Hill-related books.

The tour is part of Jane’s Walk, a global initiative to explore cities while connecting with neighbors.

Admission is free. Advance reservations are recommended and may be made online at cedarhillfoundation.org.

Cedar Hill Cemetery is located at 453 Fairfield Avenue, Hartford. The walking tour begins at the flagpole at the end of the entrance drive.

No pets allowed, except for service animals.
