Crash That Closed Highway In Hartford Cleared: UPDATE
The accident was first reported just before 6 a.m., and it eventually caused a 2.1-mile traffic jam.
HARTFORD, CT — Traffic was backed up on Interstate 91 in Hartford on Wednesday morning due to a crash, according to the state Department of Transportation, but the scene is now cleared.
The DOT reports the accident was on I-91 South between exits 30 and 29A, eventually resulting in the closure of the highway.
Eventually, traffic was backed up 2.1 miles on the highway.

The wreck was first reported at 5:56 a.m., and by 8 a.m., it was no longer listed on the DOT's incident report.
