Multi-Vehicle Crash In Hartford Cleared: UPDATE

HARTFORD, CT — Traffic was snarled Wednesday morning in Hartford after a multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 84, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it is now cleared.

The DOT reports the accident was on I-84 East between exits 44 and 46, resulting in the closure of the left lane.

Because of the accident, I-84 eastbound was congested between exits 41 and 46, resulting in a 2.3-mile traffic jam.

The crash was first reported at 6:54 a.m., and it is no longer listed on the DOT's incident report.
