Popular Hartford Cocktail Parlour Temporarily Closes, Seeks New Owner

HARTFORD, CT — Hartford Flavor Cocktail Parlour has temporarily closed while its operators work to preserve the space and find new ownership for the business.

The Cocktail Parlour, located at 54 Pratt St., announced the closure Sunday, saying it hopes the shutdown will be temporary as it works toward a transition to a new operator.

"Hartford Flavor Cocktail Parlour is temporarily closed as we navigate steps to preserve the space and bring on new ownership," the business said. "Our hope is that this pause will be temporary as we work toward this next chapter."

The company did not announce a potential reopening date or identify a prospective new owner.

Hartford Flavor said it is contacting customers with events scheduled at the Cocktail Parlour to either move those gatherings to the Hartford Flavor Distillery or issue full refunds of their deposits.

Gift cards purchased for the Cocktail Parlour will also be honored at the Hartford Flavor Distillery, which remains open and operating, according to the company.

The operators are seeking someone interested in taking over the Cocktail Parlour's turnkey space and creating a new concept there.

"We extend a huge, heartfelt thank you to our amazing team — both Front of House and Back of House — and to our incredible community for your years of love and support," the business said.
