Struggling with poor sleep, chronic fatigue, insomnia, or sleep apnea? Waterstone is expanding care in Madison with a new specialized Sleep Disorders Treatment Program designed to help patients finally get the restorative sleep they need for better overall health.

Led by Thomas Abbenante, MD, a board-certified sleep physician, and Amanda Ciampini, APRN, the program provides comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for a wide range of sleep conditions. Patients can receive care for sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, narcolepsy, restless leg syndrome, circadian rhythm disorders, and other sleep disturbances that affect daily life, mood, and long-term health.

Quality sleep is closely connected to mental wellness, energy levels, concentration, and physical health. Through personalized treatment plans, modern diagnostic approaches, and evidence-based therapies—including CPAP management, medical treatment, and behavioral sleep strategies—our goal is to help patients improve sleep quality and restore healthy sleep patterns.

The sleep program is available at Waterstone’s Madison and Hamden locations, making specialized sleep care more accessible to individuals throughout shoreline Connecticut and the greater New Haven region.

Waterstone has been part of the Madison community since 2015, originally founded to provide compassionate outpatient care for individuals facing addiction and mental health challenges. Over the past decade, our practice has grown into a trusted local resource offering mental health counseling, substance use treatment, and psychiatric medication management.

The addition of sleep medicine reflects Waterstone’s commitment to whole-person care—recognizing that sleep, mental health, and recovery are deeply connected.
