Firecracker Bingo With Over $1 Million In Prizes To Mark 40 Years At Foxwoods

MASHANTUCKET, CT — Foxwoods Resort Casino is set to celebrate four decades of Bingo with a landmark Firecracker Bingo event July 4, featuring more than $1 million in total cash and prizes.

The celebration honors the 40-year legacy of the game that first brought gaming to Connecticut and helped launch Foxwoods. Since its first bingo game, the casino said the tradition has created historic wins, lasting community memories, and laid the foundation for an expansive entertainment complex.

This year’s Firecracker Bingo will be held inside the High Stakes Bingo Hall at Foxwoods, with doors opening at 12 p.m. Organizers said the milestone event will unite generations of longtime players with new guests for what is expected to be one of the largest bingo celebrations in the venue’s history.

More than $1 million in total cash and prizes will be up for grabs, including $40,000 in door prizes. The highlight of the day will be a $440,000 grand prize jackpot, billed as one of the single largest bingo jackpots in the nation, according to Foxwoods.

The annual Firecracker Bingo commemorates the game that sparked Foxwoods’ growth from a single bingo hall into a world-class destination. Casino officials said the July 4 gathering underscores bingo’s enduring role at the heart of the Foxwoods experience.
