Annual Clam Dig In Madison Set For This Weekend
The popular event will be held at Garvan Point.
MADISON, CT — Madison's annual Clam Dig, hosted by the Shellfish Commission, is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, at Garvan Point.
Attending the Clam Dig is free, but to clam, a shellfish license is required; can be purchased through the town before the event or at the event. Fees are as follows:
- $20 for taxpayers
- $10 for seniors
- $75 for non-taxpayers
The license allows for clamming a 1/4 bushel limit.
