Committee encourages Democrats to vote in the Aug. 11th primary.
MADISON DEMOCRATIC TOWN COMMITTEE ENDORSES GOVERNOR NED LAMONT
FOR RE-ELECTION
MADISON, CT — The Madison Democratic Town Committee(MDTC) announced its endorsement of Governor Ned Lamont for re-election as Governor of Connecticut.
“Governor Lamont has provided steady leadership while delivering meaningful results for Connecticut families,” said Jessica Joseff, Chair of the Madison Democratic Town Committee. “From strengthening our economy and supporting public education to expanding childcare access and investing in our communities, he has demonstrated a commitment to moving Connecticut forward. Madison Democrats are proud to support his re-election.”

The committee cited Governor Lamont’s record of fiscal responsibility, economic growth, and investments in education, infrastructure, and working families as reasons for its endorsement.
After securing the endorsement of the Connecticut Democratic Party at its state convention in May, Governor Lamont will appear on the Democratic primary ballot on Tuesday, August 11, 2026.

Voter Information
Registered Democrats may participate in the Democratic primary on August 11, 2026. Polls will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
