Madison Newcomers Club to Host 17th annual Touch A Truck

MADISON, Conn. – Start your engines and roll into a day of family fun at the Madison Newcomers Club’s 17th Annual Touch A Truck on Sunday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Surf Club in Madison.

This high-energy community event invites kids and adults alike to get up close and hands-on with an impressive lineup of big vehicles — from fire trucks and public safety vehicles to construction equipment. Live music and local food trucks will keep the fun going all morning.

Touch A Truck combines family fun with meaningful impact. Proceeds benefit the Madison Newcomers Club Scholarship Program and Madison Youth & Family Services, supporting programs that positively impact Madison’s youth and families.

The event is made possible by dozens of local businesses, companies, and individuals who generously sponsor the event and donate their vehicles and time to help create an unforgettable experience. Whether you’re climbing into a driver’s seat, enjoying the entertainment, or grabbing a delicious bite to eat, there’s something for everyone.

A free shuttle bus will run continuously from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with pickup and drop-off at the Madison Commuter Lot (Exit 61 / Route 79). Shuttle use is highly recommended, as parking at the Surf Club is limited.

Admission is free, with a suggested donation of $5 per person or $20 per family at the entrance. The first 200 families who make a $20 donation will receive a free swag bag (one per family).
