Mary Ann Connelly for CT House

I am writing to support Mary Ann Connelly, the Republican candidate for the 101st state house seat in the Connecticut General Assembly. As a registered nurse and devoted mother and grandmother who raised her family in Connecticut, Mary Ann has spent a lifetime of service to Madison and is keenly aware of the economic and cost of living issues young families in Connecticut face. Mary Ann wants to lower taxes and utility costs for families, veterans, and seniors; stop the wasteful spending and bring accountability to Hartford; and invest in local small businesses and job creation. As a member of the Madison School Board, Mary Ann has direct experience in local governance, education policy, and community leadership. She is in favor of expanding vocational and technical training opportunities to create more opportunities for students and the workforce. Moreover, Mary Ann is a strong proponent of parental rights in education as she supports transparency in childhood curriculum and parental involvement in schools. Knowing Mary Ann personally, I can certainly say that Mary Ann listens to what her constituents have to say, is focused on their interests, and is dedicated to building a better, safer, and more affordable Connecticut.
