Manchester Woman ID’d As Victim In Fatal Motorcycle Crash In East Hartford
The accident happened late Sunday night, according to state police.
EAST HARTFORD, CT — A Manchester woman has been identified as the victim of a fatal motorcycle crash late Sunday.
State police on Tuesday said Alicea Heaven Martinez-Navaez, 21, of 23 Bunce Dr., Manchester, the operator of the motorcycle, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The accident happened around 11:56 p.m. Sunday on Route 2 in East Hartford near Exit 1A, state police said.

The motorcycle was eastbound on Route 2 in the area prior to Exit 1A when the operator failed to negotiate the right hand curve and crashed into the metal beam guardrail in the median, a police report says. The operator was then thrown from the motorcycle, police said.
