Sports Team-Themed Chain Set To Open First Connecticut Store In Manchester

MANCHESTER, CT — The sports-themed merchandise chain Rally House is set to make its foray into the Connecticut business scene Friday with an opening slated in Manchester.

Rally House Connecticut is to feature all things UConn — including clothing, jerseys, water bottles and mugs and assorted gifts.

On July 2, Rally House announced that it has become the official operator of the UConn online store and will manage an in-venue retail. It then chose Manchester as the location.

And the inventory is not limited to college. That means there will be Knickerbockers gear, fresh off their NBA championship.

The store is taking over a vacancy left by the sudden and recent closure of a Dollar Tree store at he Plaza at Buckland Hills. The street address is 1448 Pleasant Valley Road.

Though the window signage simply says "Coming soon," the website indicates an Aug. 21 opening.
