22-Year-Old Maine Man Dies After Mansfield Crash
The driver was transported to Hartford Hospital after the Hunting Lodge Road crash and later died, state police said.

MANSFIELD, CT — A 22-year-old Maine man died after a crash on Hunting Lodge Road in Mansfield, state police said.
The crash involved a Volvo XC60 traveling westbound on Hunting Lodge Road at 12:21 a.m. Tuesday. State police said the vehicle crossed over the eastbound lane and struck a tree.
The driver, identified as Zachary Barry, was extricated from the vehicle and transported to Hartford Hospital by Life Star helicopter with suspected serious, life-threatening injuries, according to an accident report.

The Volvo was towed from the scene to T&B Motors in Mansfield, according to an accident report..
At 2:43 a.m. Wednesday, Barry was pronounced dead at Hartford Hospital, according to state police.

The crash remains under investigation.
