COVENTRY, CT — Coventry police said they intercepted a ghost gun manufacturing process Friday.

On Friday, Coventry police arrested Matthew George, 47, of Coventry, on the strength of two arrest warrants. An investigation into his activities began as a welfare check and, after arriving at his location on Cedar Swamp Road, officers discovered "evidence" that ghost guns were being manufactured at the dwelling, according to an incident report.

Aside from gun charges, a Risk Warrant and Risk Protection Order were obtained after officers discovered that George had been stalking a family member for several months, police said.
