Take Note! Philanthropic A Cappella Ensemble Seeking New singers For Upcoming Concert Season
Rehearsals take place Monday evenings in Mansfield Center.

STORRS, CT — Take Note!, a Mansfield-based philanthropic a cappella ensemble, is auditioning new singers ahead of its fall concert season.
Auditions are continuing through Aug. 15.
The ensemble is seeking singers for Tenor 1, Tenor 2, Bass 1 and Bass 2 sections. Prospective members should have prior choral experience, be able to read music, sing independently and prepare music outside of the group's weekly rehearsals.

Rehearsals take place Monday evenings in Mansfield Center. New members will spend the summer learning music in preparation for the group's first fall rehearsal at the end of August and an October concert.
Founded in 2003, Take Note! has raised more than $400,000 for charitable organizations across eastern Connecticut through benefit concerts, according to the group. More than 90 nonprofit organizations have received support from its performances.

The ensemble does not charge for performances, and all donations collected during concerts are given directly to the designated charitable beneficiary.
Artistic Director Linda Tracy is conducting auditions. Those interested in joining the ensemble can contact her by email (at director@take-note.org) to schedule an audition.
