UConn Cheerleader Airlifted To Hospital After Fall At Practice
A UConn cheerleader was airlifted to Hartford Hospital Wednesday evening after an accident during a workout at the volleyball center.
STORRS, CT — A member of the University of Connecticut cheerleading team was airlifted to Hartford Hospital after an fall Wednesday evening, school officials said.
The accident took place during a practice session at the UConn Volleyball Center, officials said.
The cheerleader received treatment from paramedics and firefighters from the UConn Fire Department and was then transported via Life Star helicopter to Hartford Hospital while conscious, officials said.
