Willimantic Police Investigating Circumstances Of Infant's Critical Injuries
Police want to know how an infant in Willimantic wound up in a hospital.
WILLIMANTIC, CT — Willimantic police are investigating the circumstances surrounding an infant who is currently in critical condition in an area hospital.
Police said they began investigating the case after receiving a call Sunday evening about a child at Windham Hospital who had suffered serious injuries after a "fall," according to a news release.
The infant was then transferred to Connecticut Children's Medical Center and is currently listed in critical condition, police said.
