Meriden Resident Wins Big Lottery Prize

MERIDEN, CT — A winning scratch ticket worth $25,000 was recently sold in Meriden, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

A Meriden resident won $25,000 on a $2,000,000 Jackpot scratch ticket that was sold at J & J Liquors & Fine Wines at 325 Chamberlain Highway in Meriden, according to lottery officials.

The CT Lottery no longer publishes winners’ names without their written consent in accordance with a new Connecticut law, which was effective Oct. 1, 2025.
