MIDDLETOWN, CT — The Connecticut Veterans Cemetery in Middletown will again offer one of the state's largest Memorial Day Observances.
Connecticut Veterans Affairs Commissioner Ron Welch and the Middletown Council of Veterans will preside over a ceremony honoring military members who died while serving the US on Monday.
The ceremony is slated to begin at 2 p.m.

According to a poll taken last year,Connecticut's State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown is among the Nation’s top Memorial Day burial sites, according to a poll taken last year.
Middletown was No. 42 nationally in the poll.
Choice Mutual, a life insurance agency that specializes in final expense insurance, asked 3,023 Americans which military burial grounds they would most want to visit.
