MIDDLETOWN, CT — Wilbert Snow School in Middletown has been recognized as a national "Bright Spot" for its success in literacy education and student achievement.

The recognition was awarded by The 74, a national nonprofit organization that analyzes and reports on the U.S. education system.

Snow School was recognized for "beating the odds" in literacy education and exceeding expectations for student growth and achievement, according to the organization.
