MIDDLETOWN, CT — Middletown's open houses this weekend range from a custom-built home with an in-ground pool and a bonus room its listing suggests as a studio to a new modern Colonial on rolling hills, due to be finished this month. Two Founders' Ridge models are open Sunday.

Four Middletown homes are holding open houses Saturday, Nov. 7, and Sunday, Nov. 8, with prices from $589,900 to $1,430,000, according to Zillow.com.

Saturday, Nov. 7

40 Pinehurst Place, noon to 3 p.m., $1,430,000. This six-bedroom, 3.5-bath home was custom-built in 2006, per Zillow, with cherry hardwood floors, a chef's kitchen with an eat-in area and a first-floor primary suite. Upstairs are more bedrooms and a large bonus room the listing suggests as a playroom, office or studio. Outside are a patio, an in-ground pool and a three-car garage, and the listing says the lower level, with its own driveway, could be finished as an in-law suite. It has 4,892 square feet on 1.38 acres.

Sunday, Nov. 8

Two homes at Founders' Ridge, which the listings describe as a 55-and-older community in the Westfield section, are open Sunday from noon to 2 p.m. Both listings say the agent is related to the owner and that some photos show similar homes or upgrades.

137 Webster Lane #2-42, noon to 2 p.m., $589,900. This two-bedroom, two-bath home is the "Martin II" model, still under construction, with occupancy in early 2027, according to the listing. It's a single-floor plan with 1,430 square feet, wood cabinets with granite counters, a walk-in pantry and a rear deck. Zillow lists a $350 monthly HOA fee.

41 Webster Lane Unit 2-145, noon to 2 p.m., $689,000. This two-bedroom, two-bath home is the Kirby II model home, available now. The listing calls it the last Kirby II at this price. It has 1,555 square feet on one level, white cabinets, quartz counters, a walk-in pantry, a bay window in the front room and a rear patio. Zillow lists a $350 monthly HOA fee.

85 Freeman Road, noon to 2 p.m., $749,900. This four-bedroom, 2.5-bath modern Colonial is new construction on 1.8 acres of rolling hills, and the listing says it's due to be finished in mid-November. Plans call for white oak floors, a kitchen with white shaker cabinets, quartz counters and a navy island, a family room with a gas fireplace and a primary suite with a coffered ceiling. There's a Trex front porch and rear deck and an oversized two-car garage, and the listing says an adjacent 2.8-acre lot is also available. It has about 2,232 square feet.

Saturday's only stop is Pinehurst Place, open noon to 3 p.m. On Sunday, all three are open noon to 2 p.m., and the Founders' Ridge models sit side by side.
