Details Released On Pride Month Events In Milford
"Pride on the Green" will feature live music, food trucks, local vendors and more.
MILFORD, CT — Milford Pride has announced events coming up this month.
A Pride Month Flag Raising will be held Monday, June 1, to "kick off LGBTQIA+ Pride Month, and in celebration of our city’s support of the LGBTQIA+ community," according to a statement.
Milford Pride will raise the Progress Pride flag at Milford City Hall at 4 p.m. with Mayor Rich Smith, city and state dignitaries, and members and supporters of Milford Pride.

Then Milford Pride on the Green is scheduled for Saturday, June 27, from noon to 4 p.m.
This is the third annual iteration of the event, which will feature DJ Mixmaster Cayes, live music with Carrie Ashton, performances by Sapphire Bills, inspiring speakers, local food trucks, dozens of local vendors, LGBTQIA+ organizations, and more.

"This all-ages community event is free and open to all!" according to the statement.
Pride on the Green is sponsored by Platinum Sponsors Atlantic Brewing Company, Circle Care Center, First United Church of Christ Milford, and Leonard Litz Foundation.
