The event will feature food, music and family activities, all centered around the city's famous seafood dish.
MILFORD, CT — A waterfront festival celebrating Milford’s role in culinary history is set to return to Walnut Beach this fall.
The Milford Regional Lobster Roll Festival is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 20, bringing a full day of food, music and family activities to the shoreline. Organized by the Milford Regional Chamber of Commerce, the event highlights the city’s claim as the birthplace of the hot buttered lobster roll, first served in the 1920s at Perry’s Restaurant.
Chamber officials said the festival aims to showcase local businesses while offering a community-focused end-of-summer gathering.
