In heartfelt memory of Janice Uhrynowski. A life well lived, a love deeply shared.
Janice Uhrynowski left this world on November 2nd, and entered into the loving arms of her Lord, Jesus. In her final days, Janice was surrounded by those she loved.
Janice was born on December 9, 1945 in Bridgeport, CT. She enjoyed her final years living by the beach in Milford. Janice graduated college from WCSU and started her career in teaching. She then earned her Master's degree in Counseling from SCSU. where she realized her God-given gift of being a therapist. This she continued right up until her passing. Though this was her chosen profession, those who crossed paths quickly realized she had a heart of compassion to help all in need.

Janice enjoyed her life to the fullest, and appreciated the beauty in every detail. She will always be fondly remembered for her love of birds, the crashing waves at the beach, all things- Elvis, traveling, spending time with family and friends but most of all her beautiful ability to bring others together through forgiveness, selflessness, and love.

Janice was predeceased by her parents Dominic and Jenny Ciccia, her brother and sister in law Joseph and Sally Ciccia and best friend Francis Wadeka.
Janice will always be lovingly remembered by her three children, John Uhrynowski(Chris), Laura Martin (Steve)and Jason Uhrynowski who each played a very different yet special role in her life. She, also, loved and treasured her four grandchildren, Megan, Melissa, Nicholas, and Isabella, and her furry grandchildren Champ and Charlie.
She also leaves behind her extended family whom she loved deeply, although an aunt she was more like a sister to her many nieces, and nephews, to her great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins, sister-in-law and brothers-in-law, her Wadeka Families (Kenny and Elaina) and all of her wonderful friends, from the life long faithful ones to the newest ones she only just met.
She loved and cherished you all.
Janice’s faith and relationship to God was vitally important in her life. She was a member of Saint Gabriel’s church in Milford, as well as an honorary attendee of Victory Church in Middlefield CT. Janice’s utmost prayer was that when she left this earth and entered into the arms of God, she would hear the beautiful words from the scripture Matthew 25:23, “Well done My good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of your Lord”, which she now has. You too can hear those words and have the certainty of eternal life that Janice had in her final days here on this earth; you need only turn to Jesus (John 3:16).
Forever in our hearts and minds.
