She was a daily communicant and devout supporter of her parish, Most Precious Blood (St. Marys), in Milford.

Mary Ann Walsh, 91, of Fairfield, beloved wife of the late Joseph Walsh, entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 11, 2026. Born on November 30, 1934 in Bridgeport, CT, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Eileen (Flahaven) Donnelly.
Mary Ann, previously a long-time resident of Bridgeport, worked for years for the Diocese of Bridgeport in multipole roles at St. Ambrose School in Bridgeport. She was a daily communicant and devout supporter of her parish, Most Precious Blood (St. Marys), in Milford. Mary Ann prayed the Rosary daily and had also been a Eucharistic Minister at St. Ambrose.
Mary Ann is survived by her five sons: Mike (Kelli Armstrong); Bill (Tina); Dennis; Joseph (Peggy); and John and six grandchildren: Dan (Ali); Tim (Adrianne); Kelly; Christine; Bridget; and Fiona; and four great-grandchildren: Aidan and Annie; Patrick and Cian. She is also survived by her brothers and sister: Joseph Donnelly; John Donnelly; Edward Donnelly; and Theresa. Dawes, and also by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings: Margaret Weissauer; Thomas Donnelly; Susan McPadden; and Lee Ellen Romano.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday, May 15, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street, Milford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday May 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 70 Gulf St., Milford, CT. (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery, 2205 Stratford Ave, Stratford, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St Jude Children’s Hospital.
