Milford Arrest Log, Aug. 26-Sept. 1, 2026

Recent arrests by the Milford Police Department. All charges are allegations and not convictions.

MILFORD, CT — The following information has been provided by the Milford Police Department and does not indicate convictions:

  • A 69-year-old West Haven man was charged Aug. 26 with sixth-degree larceny after police responded to Costco on Boston Post Road. Police said he stole about $100 worth of salmon from the store. He was released on a promise to appear in court Sept. 23.
  • A 20-year-old Milford man was charged Aug. 29 with driving under the influence after police responded to a report of a vehicle off the road near Boston Post Road and Locust Street. Police said he was operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol. Bond was set at $500 and he was scheduled to appear in court Sept. 29.
  • A 50-year-old Milford man was charged Aug. 29 with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct following a domestic violence incident. Police said he slapped the victim across the face multiple times. Bond was set at $2,500 and he was scheduled to appear in court Aug. 31.
  • A 40-year-old Milford man was charged Aug. 29 with sixth-degree larceny after police responded to a shoplifting complaint at Big Y on Boston Post Road. Police said he stole about $486 worth of merchandise. He was released on a promise to appear in court Sept. 22.
  • A 33-year-old Fairfield man was charged Aug. 31 with interfering with an officer after police responded to the Naugatuck Avenue area for a breach of peace. Police said he provided officers with a false name during the investigation. He was released on a promise to appear in court Sept. 29.
  • A 59-year-old Hingham, Massachusetts, man was taken into custody Aug. 31 on an active warrant charging violation of a protective order and second-degree harassment. Police said he called police to conduct multiple welfare checks on the victim each day without substantial concern. He was released on a promise to appear in court Sept. 1.
  • A 31-year-old Milford man was charged Aug. 31 with assault on an elderly person, disorderly conduct and carrying a dangerous weapon after police responded to an assault at the Mayflower Motel. Police said he punched the victim multiple times and was found with brass knuckles. Bond was set at $1,000 and he was scheduled to appear in court Sept. 29.
  • A 48-year-old Milford man was taken into custody Sept. 1 on an active warrant charging violation of a protective order. Police said he went to the victim's home while she was not there in violation of the order. He was released on a promise to appear in court Sept. 2.
  • A 38-year-old Milford man was charged Sept. 1 with breach of peace and third-degree assault after police responded to the area of Broadway and Naugatuck Avenue. Police said he punched the victim after the victim confronted him while he was driving. He was released on a promise to appear in court Sept. 29.
