MILFORD, CT — A residential property in Milford recently sold for a record price, according to Coldwell Banker. The property at 61 Shell Ave. sold for $3.6 million, marking the highest residential sale in the city’s history.

The same property held the previous record. The recent sale represented a 15% jump in price.

The sale was managed by Carrie Sakey of the Fowler Sakey team at Coldwell Banker Realty.

To prioritize privacy, "the listing was kept entirely off public portals like Zillow and Realtor.com, handled exclusively through private luxury networks," according to the real estate agency.

The direct beachfront home was custom built in 2017 and sits on .43 acres. The five-bedroom home also has three decks, a stone patio, stone walkways, and "stunning water views."
