Monroe Police Hosting Kids Fishing Derby
The annual event is open to kids ages 3 to 15, with prizes awarded for the biggest catch.
MONROE, CT — The Monroe Police Department is hosting its 22nd annual kids fishing derby next month at Wolfe Park.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, May 9, from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. at Great Hollow Lake, located at 454 Purdy Hill Road.
The derby is open to children ages 3 to 15, with participants divided into age groups ranging from 5 and under to 12–15 years old.
