MONROE, CT — Recent death notices from Monroe.

Barbara Mae Tranchese, 88, died Aug. 18, 2026. A graduate of Cathedral High School and Hunter College, she worked as a New York City bus matron serving children with disabilities and was a parishioner of St. Jude Church in Monroe. She is survived by her husband, Frank, three children and seven grandchildren.

Joyce F. Millo, 93, died June 25, 2026. She and her husband, John, operated P. Millo & Son Supply Company for more than 50 years. She is survived by four children, eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Jean G. Paul, 80, died June 23, 2026. A systems analyst at Bartlett Tree in Stamford, she served for more than 30 years as a catechist and director of religious education at St. Jude Parish in Monroe. She is survived by a granddaughter and several siblings.
