Legendary Comedian, Ventriloquist Sets Summer Date For Mohegan Sun

UNCASVILLE, CT — Comedian and ventriloquist Jeff Dunham is scheduled to perform at Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday, July 12, at 8 p.m.

Tickets will be available starting Friday, April 25, at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster. Pending availability, tickets can also be purchased at the Mohegan Sun Box Office beginning Saturday, April 26.

Dunham, a fixture in the stand-up comedy world, has performed more than 1,500 live shows across nine international tours since 2007. He has taken his act to over 20 countries, including Canada, Germany, Australia, and South Africa.

In addition to his live performances, Dunham has released 12 comedy specials. Several have set ratings records, with Jeff Dunham’s Very Special Christmas Special (2008) holding the top spot on Comedy Central. Two other specials, Controlled Chaos (2011) and Minding the Monsters (2012), were the network’s top-rated programs in their respective years.

His 2019 Netflix special, Beside Himself, remains one of the platform’s most-watched comedy programs. Across all platforms, Dunham’s specials have amassed nearly 2.5 billion views.

Outside of comedy, Dunham is known for his collection of custom and screen-used vehicles. Items from his collection have appeared on Jay Leno’s Garage, including props from Lost In Space and replicas of Batmobiles from both the 1966 TV series and 1992’s Batman Returns.

Mohegan Sun Arena, a 10,000-seat venue in southeastern Connecticut, continues to host a wide range of entertainment acts and has received multiple industry awards, including recognition from Pollstar and Newsweek.
