Naugatuck Man Found With 21 Kilos Of Cocaine, Prosecutors Say
A man has entered a plea in a drug trafficking case, according to federal prosecutors.
NAUGATUCK, CT — A Naugatuck man has pleaded guilty to charges after he was found with 21 kilograms of cocaine, according to a statement from U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut David X. Sullivan.
Lester Arrington, 34, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute five kilograms or more of cocaine.
According to a federal investigation, state troopers stopped a car Feb. 23 in Trumbull in which Arrington was a passenger.

A police dog sniffed the car and found drugs. A police search found 21 kilograms of cocaine hidden in two compartments installed under each front seat.
Arrington faces at least 10 years and up to a life sentence in prison. He is released on $150,000 bond. Sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 31.

The car's driver, Reginald Rogers, pleaded guilty to the same charge last week.
