Police Seek 2 Suspects In Naugatuck Larceny

NAUGATUCK, CT — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying two people accused of taking part in a larceny at the Naugatuck Walmart.

The incident happened at about 5:20 p.m. Sept. 4, according to the Naugatuck Police Department.

Police said the two people arrived at the store together but were later seen leaving separately.

One of the suspects was stopped by the store’s asset-protection staff, who recovered about $731 worth of merchandise. The person left before staff members could identify him, police said.

The second suspect did not stop for asset protection and left the store with approximately $457 worth of merchandise, according to police.

The pair’s vehicle was photographed, but investigators did not obtain its license plate number.
