'Her Spirit Shines On Through Her Five Beloved Children': Family Remembers Jennifer Farber Dulos
Sunday marked seven years since Jennifer Farber Dulos, 50, vanished from her New Canaan home. Her family remembers her with love.

NEW CANAAN, CT — Jennifer Farber Dulos, the 50-year-old mother-of-five, vanished from her New Canaan home seven years ago on Sunday, and her family still feels her absence.
"We feel the immensity of her absence, always," Carrie Luft, spokesperson for Jennifer's family, wrote in a statement. "Her spirit shines on through her five beloved children, now wonderful young adults, who have grown up without both parents."
The five Dulos children are Petros, Theodore, Christiane, Constantine and Noelle.

Jennifer is believed to have been murdered by her estranged husband, the late Fotis Dulos; her body has not been found. Fotis, who was charged with kidnapping and murder, took his own life in January 2020 and never stood trial.
"We miss Jennifer’s love, her laughter, her hugs, her sparkling wit, her keen intelligence, her warmth, her quiet kindness, her strength, her style," Luft wrote.

The only person to stand trial in the case is Michelle Troconis, the former girlfriend of Fotis, who was convicted on six counts and sentenced to more than 14 years in prison. Troconis' bid for an overturned conviction was denied by a judge this month.
In the years since Jennifer's death, her family has advocated on behalf of domestic violence awareness.
"For those who can afford to do so, we also encourage donations to local organizations that support survivors of family violence, such as Interval House Hartford, the Rose Brooks Center, Haven Watch Minnesota, and many others; as well as to groups such as the Black and Missing Foundation and Missing/Murdered Indigenous Women and Relatives," Luft wrote. "These organizations—and the people they support—need your help now more than ever."
