New Canaan Fall Family Fun Event Details Announced

NEW CANAAN, CT — New Canaan Parks and Recreation will host a fall family fun event next month at Waveny Park.

According to the department's Facebook page, residents are invited to enjoy a fun-filled fall evening Oct. 16 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

During the event, guests can visit a pumpkin patch, take a tractor hayride through the park, explore a corn maze, meet friendly animals at a petting zoo and stop by a fall photo station.

Guests can also enjoy live entertainment from illusionist David Garrity, as well as fresh popcorn and an outdoor showing of "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" in the Hay Bale Theater.

The event costs $15 per person and limited tickets are available, according to Parks and Recreation.
