NEW HAVEN, CT — The New Haven United Football Club is a new semi-professional club in the National Premier Soccer League, which brings together elite pre-professional players, many from top Division I colleges, while also creating new pathways for youth soccer players across the city.
The team offers high-level training and competition without the barriers of the pay-to-play model that has historically locked many young athletes out of the sport.
In New Haven United FC's first season, the team won the North Atlantic Conference Championship, advancing to the NPSL regionals and finishing in the top 25 teams nationally. The team also increased home attendance by 35 percent per match.
