Popular New Haven Restaurant Closing After 18 Years

NEW HAVEN, CT — Westville Seafood announced on social media that "After 18 unforgettable years, we are closing the doors of Westville Seafood at our current location."

"This will be our final weekend at 1514 Whalley Avenue in New Haven, and our hearts are filled with both sadness and gratitude," the owners announced. "Over the years, you became so much more than customers—you became part of the Westville Seafood family.

"We watched your children grow, celebrated your victories, shared in life’s milestones, and were honored to serve you through so many meaningful moments," the owners said in a statement. "Thank you for welcoming Westville Seafood into your lives and for supporting our family and our business for the past 18 years. Every visit, every kind word, every recommendation, and every familiar face meant more to us than we could ever fully express.

"This may not be goodbye forever—but it is goodbye to this location and the end of a beautiful chapter," the owners added in a statement. "From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every single person who walked through our doors and helped make Westville Seafood what it became.
