Man Sentenced In Fatal Arson Case In New London: Report

A man pleaded guilty to charges earlier this week, according to a report.

NEW LONDON, CT — A man who set fire to an apartment building, leading to the death of a resident, was sentenced to 15 years in prison, according to The Day of New London.

James McKinnon, 64, pleaded guilty to charges of first-degree manslaughter and first-degree arson.

The charges were connected to a fire at a multi-family home on Blackhall Street on March 29, 2021. The blaze led to the death of Robert Wood, 63.
