Popular Fall Food Event Returning To New London

NEW LONDON, CT — The annual Fall Food Stroll will return to downtown New London on Wednesday, Oct. 7, offering visitors samples from local restaurants and other businesses.

The event will run from 5 to 8:30 p.m. and will be held rain or shine, according to the Downtown New London Association.

Participating locations include Hygienic Art, Lion House, Tox Brewing and Fiddleheads Food Co-op. Pub 181 and The Marquee on State Street are among the new additions this year.

CorePlus Credit Union on Bank Street will feature Julie’s Salsa. Sunrise, which won the Food Stroll competition in 2023 and 2024, will also participate, along with 2025 winner Water Street Waffle Company.

This year's judges are chef Denny Rivera, New London therapist Bianca Alexis-Sylvain and The Day columnist Mike DiMauro.

Attendees will also be able to vote for a Fan Favorite by posting their choice and a photo on the New London Food Stroll Facebook page during the event.

Wristbands can be purchased in advance through the Downtown New London Association's website. Presale discounts are available, along with discounts for military members and students with valid identification.

Organizers said the number of wristbands is limited. Tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
