NEW LONDON, CT — Recent death notices from New London County:

Paul Christopher Tanner, 64, of Groton, started at Electric Boat and went on to own a painting business.

Edward Barrett Neilan, 83, opened the Niantic branch of Neilan Funeral Home with his father and uncle, eventually taking over as president.

Walter Wiggins, Jr., 90, of Mystic, served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War and was a welder at Electric Boat.

Peter F. Stuart, 86, of Mystic, was a prominent lawyer, civic leader and businessman.

Amparo Dominguez, 76, of New London, was born in Puerto Rico and worked for 25 years at Foxwoods Resort Casino.
