NEW LONDON, CT — The city is providing updates on parking, office closures, and more as a blizzard rolls through the region.
The downtown parking ban was enacted Sunday. Residents must move vehicles to the Water Street Parking Garage, according to a post from Mayor Michael Passero.
"These rules will be strictly enforced, and cars parked illegally will be towed at the owner’s expense," according to a city statement. "The ban helps crews clear streets and lots efficiently. The downtown parking ban stays in place during the storm and while plowing is underway."
