Newtown Seeks Volunteers To Serve On Several Boards

Three of the four boards with vacancies have certain requirements.

NEWTOWN, CT — Newtown is looking to fill vacancies on four government boards, according to First Selectman Bruce Walczak.

Interested parties must be residents and registered voters.

The following boards have vacancies:

Commission on Aging, alternate, available to a Democrat or unaffiliated voter.

The Pension Committee, available to a Democrat or an unaffiliated voter.

The Hattertown Historic District available to a Democrat or unaffiliated voter.

The Newtown Building & Infrastructure Committee has open seats available to any registered voter.

Those who are interested in serving on one of those board is asked to send a letter of interest and a resume to susan.marcinek@newtown-ct.gov
