Sandy Hook LobsterFest Returns Next Week In Newtown

NEWTOWN, CT — One of Newtown's most popular annual community fundraisers is set to return next week.

Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire & Rescue will host LobsterFest 2026 on June 6, welcoming residents for an afternoon and evening of food, community and fundraising.

Organizers said attendees can choose from lobster, steak, hamburger and hot dog dinners. Lobster and steak tickets are currently available in advance, while hamburger and hot dog dinners will also be available during the event.

Tickets are available through fire company members, at The Newtown Bee office and through the Office of the Fire Marshal at Newtown Municipal Center.

According to organizers, advance lobster and steak dinner tickets are $40 through noon June 5 before increasing in price to $45 for the remainder of the event.
